September 1, 2011 - O-VER-RAT-ED!

I know a lot of people will disagree with me on this one, some quite strongly, but I think Rudy is one of the most overrated movies of all-time (aside from the killer musical score.) I mean, what is the lesson here? If we really want something bad enough, no matter how unrealistic it seems and relatively pointless it is, we should never give up on it, and one day, if we try hard enough, and keep getting up when we get knocked down, someone will feel bad enough for us to let us "accomplish" said meaningless goal?
