August 9, 2011 - Finger-Waggin' Good!

We might not see any NBA basketball for a while, but thanks to the magic of YouTube, we can still enjoy the hilarious antics (and even more hilarious voice) of one Dikembe Mutombo Mpolondo Mukamba Jean-Jacques Wamutombo. That's right, everyone's favorite 7-footer from the Congo (sorry, Serge Ibaka!) The man known to some simply as Deke, was known not just for wagging his finger at opponents on the court, but also for being mostly unintelligible just about everywhere. Since it's two-for-Tuesday (I guess) check out a video from nba.com featuring some off-the-court highlights from Mount Mutombo's career, then see his old Rockets teammates doing their best imitations. My personal favorite is Carl Landry saying "Good morning, good morning, good morning...good morning." Enjoy.
