Really Short Story: Who says we can't trust large corporations to regulate themselves?
Short Story: So, if I were to tell you that Goldman Sachs is trying to invest in Facebook through private investors outside of regulated markets, so Mark Zuckerberg's little internet project can remain private while enjoying the perks of being a public company, what would your first thought be? Sounds just like another one of Goldman Sachs sneaky backhanded money-making ventures? Just another case of Facebook continuing it's quest to take over the world? Or maybe a little bit of both? Either way, it's surely something that will be on the mind of the SEC now, as they try to figure out how to treat a deal between one of the world's most notorious investment banks and a growing behemoth of a private company. january jones

WHY?: Believe it or not (and I'm not sure I do) this young starlet was apparently named after some character in an old novel, and not after the month she was born in. While you may not buy this story, you have to respect her rise to fame over the past several years. She is primarily known for her role as Betty Draper in Mad Men, but she has been around since the turn of the decade, as she was named one of Maxim's Hot 100 Women in 2002. Of course, back then, she was really just known for being a hot chick named after our coldest month. Nowadays, she's a hot chick named after our coldest month that happens to be on a very popular television show.
