It's no secret that a lot of people out there, particulary those in the gay community, are not fans of the controversial "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy of the United States military, which essentially tries to ignore the giant gay elephant in the room that is the sexuality of its members. Well, while there has been much talk of repealing this antiquated policy, that movement just got the backing of one of the most influential voices in America today. That's right, Lady Gaga is officially taking a stand against the policy. She attended and spoke at a rally in Maine on the eve of a key Senate vote on the issue. So, just how much influence does Gaga hold over our Senators, but the big question that still remains is why didn't anyone tell Bill Clinton that this policy had nothing to do with his sex life when he enacted it back in 1993?

A: I guess I could mention the fact that since the South Pole is basically in the center of a gigantic continental land mass known as Antartctica, meaning it is at a much higher altitude than the North Pole, which is at sea level. However, that is obviously not the only factor, as everyone knows that all those little elves running around working trying to please their obese red-suited boss, and make all the greedy boys and girls of the world happy on Christmas morning create a certain amount of heat that you won't find on its polar opposite. Of course, one must remember that this question will soon be a moot point, as the word cold will be removed from the dictionary in a few years when global warming officially turns both poles into premier vacation destinations...or the only livable climates on Earth.
