Remember back in the day when doing something like saying "BYAHHHHHH!" during a speech was enough to stop you from being seen as a credible Presidential candidate here in the United States? Nowadays, you can mix up your facts about Paul Revere, or make false, unsubstantiated medical claims without being removed from contention for the GOP nomination.
